We use the Timken Certified method of shrinking the shafts with liquid nitrogen before placing the super heated bearings on top allowing gravity to perform the installation for us and locking in place with the transfer of thermal energy. We then begin to reassemble your gearbox and once complete we coat the gearbox in a polymer designed to reduce vibration and overheating before moving your gearbox over to our QC department where it is placed on a custom built test bench to run for 6 hours to ensure that it does not leak, vibrate or overheat.
