We repair damage to the housing and bearing seal areas while taking extra care to replace all bearings and seals for the entire gearbox. We can repair some damage to internal components however for completely spent gearing we can replace the parts directly from the OEM or Manufacture them in house. IndustrialGearbox.Net has a Gear Manufacturing division which can manufacture all types of gearing up to 20 feet in diameter as well as shafts and pinions. We can replace broken gearing with manufactured gearing to save money and save time or according to customers preference. Our team of Gear Hobbers and Millwrights can manufacture gearing to the exact same specifications and rockwell hardness rating as the OEM.
Once all the parts are assembled and reassembly of the Neptune Gearbox is set to begin we also install all bearings fresh from the OEM. For Planetary Gearboxes that usually means Timken and we always install our bearings the Timken Certified Way via shrinking the shafts with liquid nitrogen before placing a super heated bearing on top allowing gravity to perform the installation, Once your Gearbox is reassembled and coated in our temperature resistant coating it is inspected before being sent to our Quality Assurance division where it will be placed on a custom build test bench and ran on a light load for six hours to test for vibration overheating and leaking as well as other abnormalities.
